The charming city of Somerville is a large city located northwest of Boston, tucked between Cambridge and Medford. Take the family shopping at popular stores like Nike, J. Crew, and Saks OFF 5TH, all located on the northern side of I-93 in Assembly Row.

Somerville’s unique Porchfest festival has rapidly become a local favorite. The festival usually hosts around 200 musical acts, who perform on the porches of buildings (and occasionally pour into the street). Musical genres range from punk and blues to Afrobeat and rock. Take your kids and dogs to the Nunziato Field and Dog Park for a wonderful day out in the sun or snow. Whether you’re interested in playgrounds, skate parks, or ballfields, you can spend a lovely evening at Lincoln Park.
